Reupholstery Projects
We frequently are asked if we do upholstery, and the answer is 'yes'! Joanne started upholstering many years ago and since moving to the US has picked up her tools once again. Here are some of the projects she's completed using a range of techniques and materials.
This quality Hickory chair was long overdue for an update!
This pair of antique fauteuil chairs needed complete reupholstering, including webbing and reattaching the springs. Very pretty!
This pretty antique ottoman with ornate woodcarving needed a complete rebuild. We then reupholstered it using traditional methods, the double piping detailing really finished it off making it into a feature piece ready for a grand New Orleans home.
This pretty folding chair was broken in the seat with too much damage to just repair, instead needed to be recaned and then the cane stained to match the back.
This headboard was customed designed and made by us. The outside wood frame was finished in cream with a crackle glaze finish with the inside upholstered for maximum comfort.
This chair was part of a bedroom set we repainted for a nursery, our client wanted the chair repaired, repainted, and re-upholstered for their baby girl. With classic mid-century modern lines it looked great when finished!
